The Joy of Life

Thankfulness

My inspiring art and messages center on inner peace, the joy of life and daily thankfulness.  My name is Margaret Lukasik and for over 40 years I have been involved in art and writing in various forms. When it comes to my art, I've changed from realism to abstract realism, but when it comes to my inspirational messages, intertwined with profound scripture, they remain the same! Art may change but not God's wisdom.

I invite you to continue visiting my site. I believe that you'll have a unique artistic and spiritual experience. Explore my gallery filled with artwork that pushes the boundaries of traditional realism through the soul celebrating nature, animals and private emotion through expressive portraits.  Join me on this inspiring adventure to ignite your own creativity, uplift your soul, and touch your heart in ways you never thought possible.

4 Main Categories Of My Art:

My Inspiring art Expressive Portraits.

Expressive Portraits

Animal or people portraits that are symbols of a painting or commissioned. Go ->

Create a stylish image of a paintbrush and palette with a price tag elegantly overlaid. The overall style should be clean and modern, with a focus on professional presentation. The image's main element should be a close-up of the tools of the artistic trade; paintbrush, palette with vibrant colors.

Abstract Realism Floral

Whether a garden, bouquet or a single flower, I love to paint my expression of them.  Go ->

Create an image of an artist's hands using social media to promote art. The image should display different social media apps, and the background could show an art piece that's promoted on these apps.

Abstract Realism Nature

I love animals, nature and whimsy. At times they make a great mix for a creative painting. Go ->

Create a stylized image portraying a logo design process. The image should highlight various sketches and design elements, emphasizing the importance of brand consistency in building a cohesive visual identity for an artist's work.

Abstract Art From The Heart

Painting abstract is a deeper level of creativity that leads to a greater imagination.   Go ->

As my art progresses it leans more toward abstract realism.  My style has changed from mostly realistic over the years to abstract because with each painting it inspires my creativity more than realistic paintings do.  Realism for me is like taking a picture with a camera. There is no personal interpretation. So in my older age, I've taken this turn in my art. It's exciting as an older person to welcome change, new ideas and expressions.

The 3 Mediums I Use:

Acrylic

Oil

Soft Chalk Pastel

While I use each of the above mediums separately to create art that inspires, I also use them together for a multimedia and sometimes collage effect.  I began making collages as a teenager in my highschool art class. I fell in love with the process, however now I have more tools and mediums to become more expressive.  Currently, most of the paintings on this site are a combination of acrylic and oil or soft chalk pastel.

Finding Beauty in Art

Visit My Gallery

A photorealistic image of an abstract acrylic painting that utilizes drips, splatters, and layered textures. The colors should be a mix of soft, earthy tones with bright pops of color, showing the beauty that can be found even in seemingly chaotic expressions. The overall mood should be one of peace and serenity, highlighting the appreciation for the imperfect, natural beauty of the artwork.
