The overall style should be expressive and highly detailed, suggesting movement and transformation. The style should be painterly rather than photorealistic.

The Artistic Journey

My passion for art began in childhood, fueled by a love of vibrant colors and storytelling through visual expression. This journey has led me to explore various mediums and styles throughout the years, always seeking new ways to connect with the world around me. Art that stirs the heart brings out the treasures of imagination from within.

Inspirational Process

Inspiration strikes from unexpected places – nature, human connection, and moments of quiet reflection. My creative process involves little sketching, followed by layering colors and textures to build depth and meaning into my artwork. I believe in the power of intuitive creation, allowing the artwork to guide its own development.

A photorealistic image showing a gallery or art studio. Several paintings, in a variety of styles, are hanging on the walls. The most prominent artwork should be the subject’s painting, and the lighting should highlight its unique qualities. People are visible in the background, either gazing at the artwork or engaging in discussions, creating an atmosphere of appreciation and connection. Use subtle lighting to create a sense of intimacy and warmth, suggesting that this is a space for sharing creativity and emotional connection. The overall feel should be calm, inviting and inspirational.

Connect Through Art

Through my art, I aim to evoke emotions and invite viewers to contemplate the beauty and complexity of the world around us. I find immense satisfaction in knowing my work can resonate with others and perhaps even inspire them to embrace their own creativity. Each piece reflects a personal expression and journey of self-discovery.

Fun Art For Inspiration

Painting all forms of art inspires and fulfills me!  But the art that makes me smile while I'm painting is whimsical art.  I love painting animals in fun situations like my tiny animals in flowers.

I'm normally joyful and happy, but sometimes I find myself concerned about a loved one or sorry that I didn't do better for someone or over a decision I  made.  I don't want negative emotions choking my peace or my creativity so I get out my stash of animal ideas and begin painting a whimsical painting.

It's so much fun to me I'm able to shed the negative emotions and remain positive so that I can be better and do better.  No need to remain shut in the darkness of the past that I can't change. Instead I use the light of paint on canvas to keep my reality on what I can control so that I can fix a mistake or be better for others.  Below is my favorite whimsical soft chalk painting I had fun drawing and filling in with the chalk.
