Inspiring Art: Heal Your Mind, Create Your Peace

Discover the transformative power of art therapy. Unlock your inner creativity and find healing through color, form, and self-expression.

I believe in the power of creativity to heal and transform. I am not an art therapist, but I have used art all of my life to overcome sadness or depression brought on by difficult situations.  While I do have faith that God will help me, I learned that it's important to utilize an action that God can work through to help us keep our minds focused off our problems and on God with trust.

I hope that through my art, videos and writings, others will be able to explore their emotions, reduce stress, and enhance their well-being through artistic expression. I invite you to discover the therapeutic benefits of art with me.

Art as Medicine: Color, Technique, and Subject for Healing

Different art techniques such as watercolor, charcoal, or clay, will provide different benefits. Art style and mediums should never overwhelm you, but move you peacefully through your artistic path.

The subject matter that you pick to explore is important in your journey. A dark painting such as the one above is not a good subject for well-being.  Read my blog post on the subject: Art Subjects To Avoid.

Combining the right colors, techniques, and subjects can foster a complete feeling of healing over time when choosing art or creating art.  This is a process and may include outside sources for help, but it can be a quick process by keeping your environment and belief system positive.
