A Day At The Lake
We All Need To Enjoy Nature
Growing up I didn't experience the beauty of going into the depth of nature until I was about 10 years old. However, my grandparents had a beautiful painting of a Lakeside scene. I lived inside that painting whenever I visited them. It was my nature replacement until I could experience the real thing.
Years later when I visited Monterey, California I discovered one of the most breathtaking lakeside scenes in nature that absolutely melted my heart.
I recently decided to capture that majestic scene complete with Montery Cypress trees lining the large lake, painted in bright colors by the sun. I used extra soft pastel chalk to highlight the feeling of relaxation and beauty.
